- Uploaded content: Documents (PDF, DOCX) and YouTube URLs you submit to generate courses. These are processed by AI and stored to power your learning experience.
- Usage data: Lesson completion, streak data, and daily progress stored locally on your device and in our database.
- Purchase information: Subscription status managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Apple.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your personalised courses and lessons.
- To track your learning progress and streaks.
- To manage your subscription and entitlements.
- To send you study reminder notifications (only with your permission).
- To improve the app based on aggregated usage patterns.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Convex — Backend database and serverless functions. Stores your courses, lessons, and account data. Privacy Policy

- RevenueCat — Manages subscription purchases and entitlements. Privacy Policy
- Google Gemini / Anthropic — AI models used to process your uploaded documents and generate course content. Uploaded content may be processed by these providers in accordance with their privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Unloq is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Opt out of non-essential data processing.
